Welcome to, B. I. O. S. (Brain injury Outreach and  Support)— support  for mind, body and spirit. This is a site developed for people living with a traumatic brain injury and the people involved in caring for them, developed by someone who has survived a traumatic brain injury. This site was created with the  idea in mind of encouraging  those like myself who share parts of my story and to thank and recognize  all  family , friends and physicians who have contributed to my recovery.

I am also using this site as an educational tool so that the physicians and families involved and even the Survivors can better navigate through the recovery process. It is also the goal of this site is to create a network of supporters by giving hope and information during what is surely a difficult and trying time.

On this site, There individualized information and tips for survivors, families and doctors all attained through my experience. And I also advise you to visit the Reflections page, which will have frequently updated insights into my experience geared to clarifying certain issues and further encouraging survivors and others.

I created this page as a message that I hope to pass on to all Traumatic brain injury survivors and the survivors of various debilitating conditions. If you were in an accident of some sort or you a wounded soldier returning from overseas, this website is to let you, and all the people around you that you are a person, not a condition. Not a traumatic brain injury. A d full-fledged, thinking breathing individual who has been set on this particular path—a path, although paved with difficulty, that is definitely crossable if you give yourself the will to cross it.
